ABOUT THE LABORATORY
The Textile Testing Lab equipped with the latest equipment to provide practical knowledge to students in Testing Fabrics and Yarn. Apart from providing academic knowledge to students, the department extends its service to the apparel industry in many ways viz. providing testing services to industries situated in and around SIDCO.
The Textile Wet Processing Lab is equipped with various latest equipments. The students are educated and well trained in the area of preparation, dyeing, printing and finishing of textile materials through practical classes.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY IN THE PARTICULAR LABS:
Regular industrial visits, Demo classes and training programmes organized for students to gain knowledge about industrial testing methodologies.

The Lab is equipped with the latest Testing equipment for fibre to fabric. Many industries from Tirupur and Research scholars use this facility and get benefited. Thus we are serving the knitwear industry in a purposeful manner.
