• Facilitate quality research activities useful to the college and society
• Establish transparent and objective-based decision systems for research funding
• Include research components in UG and PG curriculum
• Encourage faculty members to become research supervisors
• Promote student-level innovation through research
• Solve existing and future industry problems through projects
• Support research publication, patent filing, and technology transfer
• Monitor research output through doctoral research division
