Programme Outcome (POS):

PO1 The student becomes thorough and skilled in the area of design development by using design software.
PO2 They will know and study the behavioral characteristics of fabric and its application in fashion market
PO3 The student should know various value addition techniques.
PO4 They should learn to manufacture proto samples by using manual or pattern CAD and stitching.
PO5 The student should know to drape customized garment design.
PO6 They should learn to implement design techniques in portfolio and collection making.
PO7 The student should learn the fashion market and its strategy including costing to commercialize designs.

Programme Specific Outcome (PSOS)

PSO1 The student should learn about the basic concept of designing and design element
PSO2 The student will learn about manual fashion sketching.
PSO3 The student will learn about fashion illustration.
PSO4 The student will learn about digital designing by using software.
PSO5 The student will learn about manual pattern making.
PSO6 The student learns about various value additions process like Dyeing, Printing and Embroidery.
PSO7 The student will learn about portfolio preparation and final design collection.
PSO8 They learn about basic garment costing.
PSO9 Students learn about the techniques of fashion draping and fashion photography.

 

  • Three years Undergraduate Degree, focused on Fabric, Processing, Pattern making, and Garment designing.
  • The Department is Function Under Seven Laboratories, Namely Pattern Making Lab, Garment Construction Lab, Draping Lab, Textile Testing Lab, Dyeing and Printing Lab, Garment Production Lab, Computerized Designing Lab, Including Computerized Pattern Making and Design Studio.
  • Frequent Industrial Visit and interactions with experts make to understand the customer’s requirements and also the international market needs.
