About NIFT-TEA
Established in 1997, NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion, located in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, is a pioneering institution dedicated to the knitwear and apparel industry. Founded through the vision of industry leaders and supported by the Tirupur Exporters’ Association (TEA), the college was established to bridge the gap between industry needs and academic education in knitwear, fashion, and apparel management.
As a not-for-profit organization, NIFT-TEA’s mission is to serve as a global knowledge resource center, catering specifically to the evolving demands of the apparel industry. With a strong emphasis on practical training and industry integration, the college offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Apparel Designing, Production, and Management. .
NIFT-TEA is much more than an academic institution—it is a hub for innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. AIC-NIFT TEA Incubation Centre is a Leading Textile and Apparel sector-specific incubation center supported by Atal Innovation Mission. .
